DiscBurn is now offering
duplication services for USB Drives.
USB Drives - also known as a
jump drives, flash drives, or
'key-chain' drives are storage devices that use
flash memory. Jump drives are extremely lightweight and portable
and can store any form of data, audio or video. Jump drives are
an excellent alternative to floppy disks, Zip drive disks, or
compact discs.
When the user plugs the device into their USB
port, the computer's operating system recognizes the device as a
removable drive and assigns it a drive letter. Unlike most
removable drives, a jump drive does not require rebooting after
it's attached, does not require batteries or an external power
supply, and is not platform dependent.
There are two primary USB standards in use
today: USB 1.1 and USB 2.0. Most USB devices have the "USB" or
"High-Speed USB" logo on their packaging indicating what
standard they support.

The USB 1.1 standard specifies at data transfer
rate of 12 MB/sec. The USB 2.0 standard specifies a data
transfer rate 480 MB/sec (nearly 40x faster than USB 1.1).
A computer with USB 1.1 ports can be used with
USB 2.0 devices; however, they will transfer data at the slower
rate. A computer with USB 2.0 ports can also use USB 1.1
devices, but again will transfer data at the lower rate.
