CD Disc Printing Specifications
For CD Duplication...
Printing: For duplication projects we use Rimage Everest Photorealistic Thermal Printers that print at 170 lines per inch. Using a patented thermal printing technology, we emboss high-resolution images directly onto the disc surface. These are not stickers – this is direct-on-disc printing with near-magazine quality. The CD printing has a durable, glossy finish. It is scratch resistant, will not fade in the sun, and is waterproof. The result is far superior to CD label stickers or CD inkjet printing, and the quality of the print is comparable in every way to a silk screen print.
Design Guidelines: You can use any graphics program you like so long as you can export the file as a .bmp, .tiff or .jpg file. Our printers only support these three types of files. Make sure that your artwork is a 12 x 12 cm square
For CD Replication...
Printing: For replication projects we use Offset (175 lines per inch) and Silk Screen (120 lines per inch.) Silk Screen allows for pantone color matching. Submit artwork in: Illustrator (.ai), Photoshop (.psd), or EPS (.eps)

Paper Sleeve Lets your custom CD print show through.	Slim Jewel Lets you showcase your custom disc or add front insert (available with clear or black tray)	DVD Style (Amaray) Great for promoting your custom disc.

The CD packaging items above are our standard packaging options. We can also provide you with many other types of packaging, including (but not limited to) double jewel cases, double DVD cases, and Digipacks. Just ask, and we'll deliver!
